About Me

  Hello, I’m Brittany Murray, and i have a 4 year old girl named Finley and a 1 year old girl named Reese. I have been married to my husband Josh for 5 years. We met in high school and fell in love later in college.  

   We have lived all over the place, and love new adventures. We have lived in Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, and recently moved back to Florida, 10 miles from our favorite place, Disney! 

  I absolutely love children so I followed my passion at the University of Florida and got my bachelors in Early Childhood Education and my masters in Special Education. I taught a full day preschool in MO for a year at a public elementary school. We then moved to Raleigh NC and taught 1st Grade for 3 years. My husband got a job with Benjamin Moore Paint in St. Louis so moved back to be near my family, who had all relocated there. We loved it so much there and made so many great memories; STL will always have our hearts. Let’s Go Blues! We’ve since decided it was time to go home and raise our girls in the sunshine state.

   I have worked with children in some capacity for the past 12 years either as a teacher, babysitter, nanny, summer camp counselor, or church nursery school aid. I have worked with all ages from birth to 14 years old. In St. Louis I ran a home daycare with 6 kiddos from 6 weeks old to 4 years. I have worked with children on the spectrum, deaf and hard of hearing, learning disabilities, and oppositional defiant disorder. I have also worked with extremely gifted students in AIG programs. My husband and I were a respite family for a year taking in foster kids that needed a quick housing arrangement.

   I am a nature buff and love the outdoors. I try to incorporate anything nature in my daily activities with my girls. We try to be outside and moving as much as possible.

  I love all things pregnancy and birth. I did Hypnobabies with both births and love their whole philosophy. I would love to be a pregnancy advocate and help educate expecting families on their options and provide resources.
